No one has said that. We know they will be built in between but we still do not care it's smarter to do it this way then re-do all 6 school. A name is just a name and colors and mascots are just that. If people would really stop and think they would realize that and realize how good 3 new schools would be

Reference to Wise? Who do you think the town was named after as well? It isn't about being pro-Wise (as in JJK Wise),it is about honoring the man that this entire county is named after. I am intelligent enough to know that the county and town are named after Wise, but how many more things here have to be named after him to honor him...geez, we have the town, the county, and UVA-Wise. You brought up the best point of all, what about other dignitaries of the other towns, such as Powers, Holton, Roberts, Scott, Trigiani, and many others? I just think that the schools need to be give town neutral names, such as North Wise, East Wise, and West Wise...wait...Wise is still a part of those names, so that is still HONORING Mr. Wise ...just my opinion, will we even live long enough to see it all come to fruition, anyway.......

IMO there should not be any mention of any school names, mascots, town, or county.

I hate the North, South, East etc concept. Not knocking on anyone that does like it. Just because I always got confused with the Sullivan schools In Tn with those names.
